Borden Dance Club has been a vibrant part of our community since 2004, bringing the joy of dance to everyone ages 3-18. We offer a variety of styles, including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre, providing dancers with a well-rounded and dynamic experience.
As a board-run club with two dedicated instructors, we hold classes in the Borden Community Centre and Borden Friendship Club room, with practices taking place one or two nights a week. In addition to group classes, we offer opportunities for solos, duets, and trios for dancers looking to further develop their skills and stage presence.
Each season culminates in an exciting spring recital, held in late April or early May, where dancers showcase their hard work and passion. Our competitive dancers also have the opportunity to attend two competitions annually, gaining valuable performance experience and growth.
At Borden Dance Club, we are more than just a dance program—we are a community that fosters confidence, creativity, and a love for movement in every dancer.
Meet the Team
Dance Instructor
Miss Kendall
Miss Kendall has been dancing since she was 3 years old and at 12 became an assistant. By the age of 15 she became a student teacher and attended multiple conventions and competitions every year to experience new styles and challenge herself to be better.
Kendall has competed in ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop, and song and dance. She has attained her RAD Advanced 1 Ballet, CDTA Advanced Jazz and Tap, and is certified as an Associate member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (Stage - Tap) and the Acrobatic Arts (Module 1 and Preschool). Miss Kendall loves to share her love and passion for dance with everyone in our club and create a great atmosphere for all students.

Miss Tara
Miss Tara started dancing at the age of 4, training in all disciplines of dance and has now been teaching dance for 16 years! Her passion for dance continued to grow in all genres as she got older but has always had a special love for tap.
Over the years as a student, Tara was privileged enough to learn from many different and incredibly talented choreographers from all over Canada, as well as train within a few different studios throughout Saskatchewan. She was lucky enough to get her first teaching contract at 16 and that is where her passion for teaching began.
Within Tara's training she has completed her Acrobatic Arts Preschool and Module 1, Progressive Ballet Technique, and has also received several A.D.A.P.T and R.A.D. examinations. As a teacher, she makes a point of continuing to train and educate herself more every year to ensure she is giving our students the best possible education and experience.
