FACILITY HOURS AND ADMISSION PRICES

The EARC staff will open the doors at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 5th and at 8:00 am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All dancers, instructors and patrons please do not arrive before these times. Admission prices: $5.00/session; $15.00/day Thursday, $25.00/day Friday & Saturday, $15.00/day Sunday; or $65.00/weekend (weekend pass includes a program) Kids 7-12 $35.00/weekend (kids weekend pass will not include a program) Programs $10.00/each.

DRESSING ROOMS

As always, we are tight on dressing room space. Dressing rooms are assigned for the duration of the festival. Please do not leave any items in the dressing rooms overnight, as they will be cleaned nightly.  Any items that are left will be removed and placed in the lost and found. Please do not bring Rac n Roll type bags. There is not enough room to accommodate them and dancers in the dressing rooms. We have extra racks located along the second-floor walkway that are labeled by studio for dancers to hang extra costumes.  Whenever possible please arrive dressed and ready to perform to limit congestion in the dressing rooms.  No food or drink permitted in the dressing rooms.

A reminder studios will be responsible for ensuring their dancers treat all facilities with care and respect. Any damage caused to dressing rooms or venue property will be the financial responsibility of the studio involved. If no studio comes forward to claim responsibility, the cost of repairs will be divided equally among all studios using the affected space.

PRACTICE AREA/BACKSTAGE

The practice area will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the session and will run in order of the session. Music that has been provided will be on a chromebook to be used to practice. The volume of the speaker will be set by the EARC staff; please do not adjust the volume.  We have fewer volunteers than in previous years; dancers please be at the practice floor at your expected time and backstage at your call time. Session times will be posted at the practice area and on the backstage door.

CANTEEN

Our committee will be offering a parent run canteen again this year. The canteen will be open at 3 pm on Thursday with a light menu and will be open with full menu Friday to Sunday.  The EARC’s bar service will open at noon daily.  No food is allowed in the theatre, but drinks are permitted.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

Once again, we will have photographers and videographers on site to take pictures and videos of the dancers. Please ensure each of your students have a waiver signed for media release as the pictures will be put online for viewing. A QR code will be posted around the art center. Also please remind your dance families and dancers there is absolutely no videoing or photographing in the theatre. If this happens it could result in a zero for the performance and the person will be asked to leave.

VENDORS

There will be three vendors on site: Designs by Donna, Jewelry by Lydia, Heart and Happiness by Tara, Captured Beyond Today Media, and Dance the World Flowers
